Festivals in Ardrishaig, Argyll

Argyll is famous for its festivals; highland games, highland dancing, and Scottish country music, to name a few. Argyllshire Gathering, Oban

The Argyllshire Gathering is one of the oldest of the Highland Gatherings in Scotland. It is held every year, usually on the fourth Thursday of August. The Gathering is renowned for its highland games and music. The next Gathering will be held on August 28, 2008 at Oban. Prices: adults £6.00, children £2.00 and car parking £2.00.

Brodick Highland Games

Traditional Highland Games featuring Heavyweights, Light Field Events, Running, Solo Piping, Tug-of-War, and Wrestling are held annually. Cowal Highland Gathering
